The main period for updating the annual edition of The Yearbook is between July and September, when every featured person, organization and reserve is systematically contacted to check that the published information is still current and, if not, what changes are required.

This process is well underway for the 2027 edition and the Updates previously published here are been removed and incorporated into the text being prepared for the next edition.

The Yearbook will go to press in early October, so if you are responsible for a reserve or a local organization and have not yet notified us of a recent change, don’t delay, do so now. You can use the Contact Form on this site by clicking on the Contact button on the Home Page. 

Aside from a 2027 diary and a fresh set of feature articles, hundreds of changes have already been incoporated into the forthcoming edition. If you think nothing changes from one edition to the next, think again.
